Subjects include: the purpose of the grid and why it is necessary, the meaning behind its name, how the grid works, who uses the grid, the impact of cutting-edge technology on the Grid, its launch, E-sciencE, CERN's Computing Center. The beginning of the World Wide Web at CERN is also mentioned.
