Purpose

to teach secondary school children about research in particle physics

Information

What is explored at CERN? What happens when particles collide at the LHC? What does particle physics have to do with cosmology? How was antimatter discovered and what is the Higgs-Boson? And is there any particle use of practical physics? This package of material gives answers to these and many other questions about particle physics. It contains of informative articles, suggestions for investigations and activities as well as a presentation with explanations and illustrations.
