Hector graduated in 2023 with a degree in Particle Physics, during which he gained professional experience in the ALICE and CMS Collaborations. Passionate about making science both accessible and engaging for everyone, he completed his formation with a master in science communication. He regularly takes part in science outreach programs organized by the AurorAlpes Association in France.

His interest in particle physics led him to an internship with the CERN Exhibition team in 2024, where he worked on developing demonstrations training for the CERN Gateway. And in 2025, he took on the position of administrative student within the IPPOG core team to assist in building a new website that would feature outreach projects (also known as "success stories") from the members of the collaboration.
