Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development is the ambitious program that the Member States of the United Nations have agreed on to ensure a balanced, sustainable and inclusive development of the planet.

WIT CERN

The Women in Technology community at CERN (WIT) is a grass-roots community that started in early 2016.
Over the years, WIT has successfully set up a structured and consolidated independent group that aims at gathering people interested in gender equality within CERN and beyond, with an open spirit, in an informal but engaging way.
The main contributions of WIT are:
- raise awareness on gender issues,
- connect people interested in equal opportunities,
- stimulate exchange about gender equality,
- provide mentoring and community support,

APS

The American Physical Society (APS) Public Engagement division works to promote access to physics, with the goal of widespread participation in physics learning. They offer a range of programs that train APS members in various forms of public engagement, as well as programs that directly connect with K-12 audiences. APS Public Engagement and IPPOG  have been collaborators since 2020.

IAPS

The International Association of Physics Students (IAPS) is an association of physics students and student societies from around the globe, working to promote peaceful collaborations amongst them. Our members are represented by National and Local Committees. IAPS also includes Individual Members in locations where no National or Local Committees exist. IAPS currently has over 90,000 members, 24 National Committees and 22 Local Committees.
 

GSI

The GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung in Darmstadt operates a worldwide leading accelerator facility for research purposes.

About 1,520 employees are working at GSI. In addition, every year approximately 1,000 researchers from universities and other research institutes around the world come to GSI to use the facility for experiments.
