Research & Teaching

Research at the Physics Department of the University of Milano Bicocca is developed both in fundamental and applied physics covering AstroPhysicsTheoretical PhysicsParticle PhysicsPlasma PhysicsBiophysics and Biophotonics as well as Electronics and Applied Physics.

The research activities are performed in collaboration with several research institutes as the National Istitute for Nuclear Physics (INFN) , the INAF and CNR .

The particle physics program includes experiments performed at particle accelerators ( LHC Cern ) and underground (at Laboratori Nazionali Gran Sasso ).

The Physics Department offers Batchelor and Master degrees in Physics and Astrophysics in close connection to the ongoing research activities of our working groups. The Physics Department offers also a graduate program in Physics and Astronomy.
