LHCb Barcelona (Experimental Particle Physics Group), gathers researchers from the Faculty of Physics / Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the University of Barcelona and from La Salle School of the Universitat Ramon Llull.
The Physics Faculty of the University of Barcelona offers 2 EHEA bachelor's degrees: EHEA bachelor's degree in Physics, EHEA bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunication and participates in the EHEA bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering. There are also several EHEA Master courses and a Doctorate program.
The Institute of Cosmos Sciences (ICCUB) of the University of Barcelona is an interdisciplinary center which is devoted to fundamental research in the field of cosmology, as well as to the technological applications of the sciences of the cosmos in general. Teaching at the University of Barcelona includes both EHEA bachelor's degree courses and postgraduate courses and doctorate. ICCUB researchers are involved in the Physics Bachelor's Degree, the Master in Astrophysics, Particle Physics and Cosmology and in the Master in Nuclear Physics.
La Salle School of Engineering of Universitat Ramon Llull offers Undergraduate, Master, Postgraduate and PhD programs on Computer, Audiovisual, Multimedia, Electronic Systems, Telecommunication Systems and Telematics Engineering among others. A wide range of courses aimed at professional, academic and research specialization that provide an innovative and a technological point of view.
The High Energy Physics Group participates, among others, in the LHCb experiment at CERN. Committed with the transfer of knowledge to the society, the group is actively involved in its own outreach project Discover Particle Physics with LHC, whose object is to get both Particle Physics and the LHC closer to the general public. In our web you will find teaching material, links and activities related with the LHC and Particle Physics.
