Research & Teaching

Physics offers the conceptual framework and tools essential to fields such as astronomy, engineering, and other sciences. It has also sparked creative insights among mathematicians, philosophers, and social scientists. Drew’s physics program provides a rigorous foundation for students pursuing careers in physics, while also catering to liberal arts students with diverse career interests. In terms of research, the Experimental Particle Physics group in the Department of Physics at Drew University is focused on the Mu2e Experiment at Fermilab. Our research aims to explore physics beyond the Standard Model, with the hope that Mu2e will present puzzles that will engage the particle physics community for years to come!

Outreach

Drew University is a QuarkNet Center. The Drew QuarkNet group works on all aspects of data from QuarkNet with director Kamal Benslama and his team. Visit the Drew University QuarkNet Center or learn more at Drew's QuarkNet Center page.
